The Trashman Team
Ian left a long career in the Defence Industry to establish Trashman Clearance in 2019. He has worked and travelled extensively across Europe, Asia, USA, Middle East and Australia, building and developing International business opportunities.
After a 7 year position in Australia Ian returned to the UK and took the decision to take a step away from the corporate world - having an interest in environmental issues, sustainable business practices and being a bit of a Del Boy on the side, the acorn of an idea to create Trashman was born. Ian has a wealth of experience in dealing with complex situations, managing projects and dealing with people, the skills he learned in business have transferred across to how he manages clearances and works with our clients to ensure the best possible outcome to meet and exceed their expectations.
Harry Leach
Harry spent 10 years serving in the Royal Navy before taking the decision to leave and join the family business. He learned a huge amount whilst serving and has brought discipline and order to what can be a chaotic and disorganised process.
Harry has a great sense of humour and is a huge personality which he brings to every job. Always on the look for new ideas and opportunities to grow the business Harry represents Trashmans future and with his enthusiasm there is no limit to where he can go.
Sue Leach
Sue has had an independent career spanning over 40 years in Commercial Management, working in Defence, Telecommunications, Oil and Gas and latterly for the South Australian Government, returning to the UK in 2019 t
o take a similar side step with Ian and set up Trashman Clearance.
Sue is now front of house at Trashman Treasures, and also runs all of the admin and organisation tasks which keeps the trashman machine oiled and working efficiently. She loves meeting new customers and chatting to everyone so her people skills are well utilised dealing with customers and clients.
" Fantastic, very friendly staff, and TONS of stuff to browse through! Pretty much anything you can think of, they have! Also, a very cute dog!
Dexter
" We were told of this gem of a place from a gentlemen in Dursley so off we popped. Lovely Lady and we met the Legend Dexter the Dog. What a fantastic find. The pictures are now in situ in the bathroom and the cornishwear mustard pot in the dining room cabinet and all at great prices...
Thank you.
" What a veritable Alladin's Cave! Had a wonderful time wandering around and checking out the bargins. The dog is an absolute sweetheart too! Thanks for the experience!
